  • Choose the type of heritage you want to explore – it could be anything; dinosaurs, space, Victorians, mining, WW2, tudors, animal or plant history… what ever you find interesting!
  • Think about what you want the young people to LEARN about heritage from the activity, and how you can make that fun.
  • Think about WHO the young people might be – what if one of them had a disability, or low literacy – could they still understand and participate?
  • The more creative, the better! See what you can do with balloons, or wool, stickers, paint, games etc…
  • Create a plan and bring it with you.
  • Create and bring any resources you would need to deliver the activity.
  • You can find loads of examples and ideas online if you are stuck
